Shipping & Returns Info

Important: do you need to return an item to us for service, or for a repair under warranty or crash replacement programs?

Dispatch times

To find out how quickly your order can be dispatched, look for the Availability heading in each Product Page. You'll find it right up top the the right of the product image gallery.

Most of our parts and small components are dispatched from our warehouse or workshops the same or next working day by the method you select during checkout. All our frames and wheels are custom built to order so take longer to deliver and are detailed below.

Frames (stock models) are usually dispatched within 2-3 working days from your order if your size is in stock. If it isn't we'll contact you to let you know the expected availability and ETD.

Custom Frames are usually built and dispatched within 6 -12 weeks from the time of your order. Each build is unique and we'll keep you fully informed about progress and / or any expected delays. Lead times vary throughout the year. When we confirm your frame order we'll also confirm the expected build and dispatch time. 

Wheels are built to order and usually dispatch one week to 10 days from purchase. You will be informed of expected ETD and dispatch / shipping information as it becomes available.

Although we always dispatch your order as quickly as we can, once we do so it is then completely out of our control and becomes the responsibility of the shipping company or postal services. Unfortunately we cannot control how long it will take for your order to arrive with you once it is dispatched and in transit.

 

Shipping / delivery costs, duties & taxes

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. But please note that there may be restrictions on some products, and that some products cannot be shipped to some international destinations. If this affects your order, we'll be in touch with you via email to work through the options available.

When you place an order, we estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are volumetric weight based so the shipping cost may be more than you'd expect from the weight quoted for your item on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full unit of measurement currently in force.
 

When an order qualifies for free shipping, this relates only to transport costs from our workshop to your nominated delivery address, and does not include any import duties or taxes that may arise.

 

International Orders: import duties & taxes

Our prices include delivery and transport costs, but if you are located outside of the UK or the EU, your purchase from our store may also be subject to additional import duties and / or taxes which will be charged to you by the Customs Office of the country you reside in. 

These rates vary by product type and from country to country, so we strongly recommend that you check your local rates, tax-free import limits and procedures before completing your purchase with us. 

A handy reference tool for calculating duty and import tax costs can be found here, but please satisfy yourself that the answers you find are correct and accurate, as we will not accept liability for any information you find that may be inaccurate, out of date or otherwise incorrect.

 

Returns

At SPN we create unique bikes, wheels and parts with great thought, care and old school craftsmanship. We think you'll love them. Nevertheless we want you to be truly satisfied and have no reservations, doubts or fear when you purchase from us online. So we offer full returns on all unused and undamaged stock parts (excluding custom built parts) should you change your mind, choose the wrong size or whatever your reason.

NOTE: frames & wheels are entirely excluded from this policy.  These items are not freely returnable as they have been custom made for you only.  

We will only accept returns on wheels or frames in the case where the goods are materially defective and do not perform as stated.

We recommend that you ship with a recorded or proof of delivery / signed-for service, and retain your proof of sending. We do not take any responsibility for items that get lost in transit.

All returned items will be inspected upon receipt and provided they are unused and undamaged and returned in their original packaging a full refund will be issued for the original purchase price. Shipping charges are not refundable and if your original purchase qualified for free shipping then the actual shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.

Please note that delivery shipping costs are only refundable in the case that we have made a mistake or sent you a defective item. If your item(/s) qualified for free shipping, then a charge will be made to your refunded amount to cover our original shipping costs.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of shipping your package, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return and the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

 

Important: returns from outside the EU

A customs declaration is required for all returns from countries outside of the European Union. Please mark your customs form as Product Returned To Vendor For Refund - failure to do so will result in charges for import duties & taxes which we will not accept and which will be recharged back to you.

 

Returns Procedure

If you need to return an item bought from ridefullgas.com, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button.
